  HOMEOPATHY

By Alfred J. Plechner, D.V.M.

Homeopathy is a very popular discipline and form of alternative medicine which has filtered down from use in human patients and now is being utilized in the treatment of animals. The use of homeopathy and holistic supplements, have been used to enhance the abilities of the hormone producing organs, to return their secretions to normal, and allow the regulation of the immune system to continue, not only to protect the patient, but also, helping the immune system from turning against the patient, causing cancer, auto-immunity, and other destructive, disorders.

Why is there a need for homeopathy? In people, there often is a suppression of hormonal production, particularly involving the middle layer of the adrenal cortex. This layer may be normal, but merely suppressed due to stress, improper nutrition, exposure to environmental toxins, vaccines, anesthesia, and or a lack of exercise. In humans, this is called "adrenal suppression". The presence of these glands and this layer, allows for the homeopathy to help enhance the well being of these areas.

Over the years, I have tried to use hormonal extracts plus glandular for hormone replacement, but sadly, all that occurred was digestion without any replacement hormones, from those glandulars, entering the blood stream intact. I determined this, by doing my blood tests before and after administration, with no hormonal antibody changes occurring.

In animals, I have found that, even with all the above problems, except working and sporting breeds, many of our animals have been genetically re-engineered, through human eyes, to not only lose function, but to be pleasing to their owners with their structure and color. Mother Nature has made sure that, since our animals have been bred for very little function, they will not survive, because their gene pool is too close. This is why you do not marry your sister, and its NOT OK to do this with animals. A father to grand-daughter breeding is not unusual, and so on and so forth with animals.

When you test for Plechner's Syndrome, and you find these hormonal antibody imbalances, you will realize that these genetic defects may lead to a lack of tissue. If this tissue does not exist or only exists partially, you now can understand why homeopathy cannot enhance the integrity of something that is not there.

The importance of testing my syndrome will help determine if homeopathy is helping or not. Just do the test before, and after the homeopathy has begun. This will help direct the patient in the correct direction. In combination with proper hormone replacement, homeopathy may help the situation or not. If it does work for you and your pet, definitely use them. I believe that the MD's and Veterinarians may be working with two different situations.
