Healthy Pet Network, Needs You!
We’ve been working very hard to help you keep your pets healthy and safe.
It’s not easy to build a website and to keep it running and updated with the
latest Pet Health information every week. Especially, when that website
offers all of it’s services for FREE.
It
has cost us money to fight the good fight. Incorporation costs, filing fees,
account fees, domain names, templates and ongoing fees for our social
network (Critter Power), shopping cart services for our store etc.
Incidental expenses that seem small but add up quickly. I’m not talking
about salaries either. At the heart of the Healthy Pet Network, there
are four people working their butts off to keep our site alive and our
services absolutely free to all our members and visitors. Not one of us has
drawn a penny since we started over a year ago.
The
work we do for HPN has become a passion, for all of us involved. It
has taken over our days and filled our hearts. It has also consumed our
savings and is nibbling away at each of our family’s food budgets. The only
way we’re able to generate our operating costs is the percentage we make on
items you purchase from the HPN Marketplace and, to be honest, sales
have been slow.
This
is very humbling to us but we can’t go on without your help. We know that
the healthful nutrition information and veterinary assistance we continue to
give to you, free of charge, is saving lives and helping to keep your pets
happier, healthier and, most importantly, live longer. Every day we get
calls and emails from frightened pet owners who desperately need Dr Al’s
help. He is always there for them, please be there for us.
We
have put out our TIP JAR, please contribute what you can,
whenever you can. It is securely linked to the Healthy Pet Network,
